An interview with Annarita Pilotti – a legend of the Italian footwear industry. She started off as a teacher in the small town of Penna San Giovanni, then in 1984 she became the first female police officer in the Marche region, and then she joined her fiancé Graziano Cuccù at the helm of the Loriblu company (that by then has already become famous with its first successful model - Mignon) and became the most influential business-lady of the Italian footwear industry. Annarita Pilotti has been holding the position of the President of the Assocalzaturifici for the past four years. Her tenure coincided with the toughest times in the Italian footwear industry, but her tireless work is what helped to break negative export dynamics in the industry.
